THE BACKGROUND OF THE FAST FASHION:
Fast fashion is a term used to describe a highly profitable and exploitative business model based on replicating catwalk trends and high-fashion designs, mass-producing them at low cost. The term fast fashion is also used to generically describe the products of the fast fashion business model.

WHEN: Before the 1800s, fashion was slow.In the late 1990s and 2000s, low-cost fashion reached a peak.Now everyone can buy fast fashion clothes at any time.
WHERE: WORLDWIDE
WHY: Industrial Revolution ——new techology—— sewing machine, textile machines, ready-made clothing factories and mass production of clothes—— All of this resulted in clothes becoming cheaper, easier and quicker to make.
World War II—— the trend of more functional styles and fabric the standardized production of clothes.
1960s and 1970s ——cheaply-made clothing ——as a form of personal expression. In the late 1990s and early 2000s——became a booming industry in America.
WHO: Fast fashion retailers—— zara、H&M、Topshop and Primark took over high street fashion.
Fast fashion retailers—— samples ideas from the catwalk or celebrity culture and turns them into garments in high street stores at breakneck speed to meet consumer demand.
Shoppers——get the newest styles on the market as fast as possible, so shoppers can snap them up while they are still at the height of their popularity and then, sadly, discard them after a few wears.
CONCLUSION:
In short, fast fashion pollution is the rapid launch of the market after rapid production and processing, and rapid elimination. Such elimination makes it impossible to properly dispose of clothes. Most of these discarded clothes are incinerated and landfilled. In the next investigation, I will study the fabrics of the clothes and the corresponding pollution caused by the treatment of the fabrics.
